Very cosy and friendly small independent bar and cafe. I’ve been here twice: recently enjoyed a delicious breakfast- excellent quality butchers sausages, coffee very good too. They have an interesting and well chosen range of drinks, including local beers. Popular with families and good for local take aways too. A nice place to stop When you are in the area.

Hands down one of the best breakfast, lunch and dinner places in south east London (we'd know as we used to be locals) Went for Wednesday gumbo tonight. Food (fries, frickles and gumbo) and wine was excellent. And as ever, service outstanding. We had a lovely chat to the owner and waitress as it had been a while since we'd been there having moved out of the area. They also did a really nice and completely unexpected touch to mark a day we were celebrating. Food, service and atmosphere are standard setting and impeccable. Make sure you visit, you'll be delighted.

We stopped by for dinner and had two courses for £15, which is only available on a Thursday. We really enjoyed the food which was great value for money. If you like creole food then this is definitely a spot to check out!
