About Cadora Woods Glamping
Cadora Woods Glamping tucks a handful of hand-built lodges into the Wye Valley National Landscape, each with a king-size bed, woodburner and private deck kitted out with barbecue and seating. The peaceful, adults-only site earns glowing praise for its spotless facilities – housed in a converted aircraft hangar alongside an indoor kitchen, honesty shop stocked with fresh eggs and home-grown veg, and a cosy lounge for rainy afternoons. Your own gleaming bathroom with hot shower and complimentary toiletries sits a few steps from the door.
Gloucestershire views stretch in every direction, with walkers and their dogs heading straight out onto spectacular trails. Four pubs lie within 90 minutes on foot, while the Forest of Dean's wilder terrain is a short drive, as are rock climbing and kayaking along the Wye. It's luxurious without feeling overdone, though you'll need to be comfortable with the remote setting and a certain rustic charm in places.

Stayed in the "Starry Skies" yurt which was lovely, has an indoor fireplace (not required over the record breaking May day weekend), and a very comfortable bed! The two yurts and shepherds hut are nicely separated to give privacy and the private bathroom has a great shower too and the shared kitchen area has all the utensils needed! The location is also beautiful and great for walks around the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons!

We loved our 3 night stay. Jerry (owner) who lives next door to the camp site in his own house, built everything on his own. It’s so impressive. He is also very welcoming and showed us around with great passion for his work. The beds were so comfortable, I slept so well. The common kitchen is fully equipped. Each cabin gets their own private bathroom which is also kept very clean. I would def go back again.

Me and my friend stayed in the tiger moth back in July and it was such an amazing experience! It was clean, comfortable and in such a quiet location that I've never slept better. We did have a tiny issue with a group staying there but that's no fault to the owners at all. The kitchen was cozy and well equipped. My absolute massive thanks to the owner for giving me and my friend a lift into Chepstow. An actual life saver and saved us walking with our heavy backpacks for an hour In the blazing heat. Would absolutely reccomed bringing a car with you as walking with all the stuff is quite daunting but either way this is one of the best places I've ever stayed. Cannot wait to have a chance to go back!
