Lyme 1 Hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. I was a bit dubious about the no reception element of this hotel but actually, the system works well. We had a lovely spacious and clean room and bathroom. You could help yourself to to more tea, coffee and fresh milk down in the kitchen at any time and the gorgeous breakfast hamper you ordered the night before was delivered to your room in the morning.

A delightfully appointed hotel in the perfect location. Go straight out the door and you walk down an ancient street to the old mill area with artistry and the microbrewery. Turn right out the door and you saunter down through the town past the eateries and on to the wonderful museum. Or turn left out of the door and you will be immediately into the lovely gardens that lead to the cobb. And then there is the roof terrace should you wish to stay right where you are! Oh, and the picnic breakfast delivered to your door so you can sit and watch the gulls nesting o the rooftops across the way is really a perfect way to start your day while you think whether it will be left, right or straight ahead!

This was the perfect place for our Lyme Regis stay. Location was ideal, close to restaurants and the beach. Room was spacious and quiet, had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. Great breakfast hamper! The owner was lovely - friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay.
