Exactly what we wanted; clean, airy, comfortable. Our room had mini fridge and great tea & coffee, we booked king room which had lovely big bed and was very spacious. We were meeting friends on their boat everyday so didn’t eat there, but the reception staff were v hospitable and helpful, the car charging was a bonus. Although it says 3 star, it was exactly what we needed, they had even opened the window and put a fan on in our room ahead of arrival, which in the July heat was a godsend. Thank you to this little gem, we will be back

So relieved to arrive at this welcoming hotel after a long day. The room was inviting, spotless and really comfortable. Clean bathroom, quality fittings and furnishings. Really comfortable king size bed, even in a smaller room. The staff were lovely, lots of car parking, very spacious grounds. I’d happily stay again. Even the others guests were pleasant and chatted with us. Such a wholesome relief staying here for a night. We didn’t eat here so I can’t speak for that. Highly recommend staying here, definitely worth the money which was very reasonable in comparison to others in the area.

Amazing break. We live in Hampshire and decided to have a couple of days in the new forest. We'll thank god we found this place. We booked for 2 nights. Loved it so much booked an extra night. We had 2 pomeranian with us. There was a a lovely paddock 20 yards from our room to walk around. The staff here are top drawer. Reception great, all hospitality staff so smartly dressed and polite. Even the maintainance chaps had uniform and friendly. Service amazing. This will be our place to go to when we want a break from our business. So, so, relaxing. Thankyou to the whole team at South lawn. Oh and the food was to die for. Thankyou for a wonderful break

Had a lovely 3 day break last week, our 3rd visit. Again couldn't fault anything, food great. staff are excellent, rooms are lovely spacious and clean. We will definitely come back.
