Lymington Blue
New Forest
Lymington draws visitors for its maritime heritage and proximity to the New Forest, with sailing schools, waterfront pubs, and the town's Georgian High Street all within walking distance. The New Forest itself—ancient woodland, open heathland, and wild ponies—spreads inland from here, accessible for walking, cycling, or a short drive. The harbour front and local shops are a few minutes on foot.
Lymington Blue is one of two cottages converted from 19th-century grain stores, arranged around a shared courtyard. Downstairs holds a sitting room and kitchen equipped for proper cooking; upstairs, a single bedroom with a cabin kingsize bed and a bathroom with shower. The courtyard has an enclosed patio where you can sit out. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There is public parking nearby. The cottage is non-smoking.
This works well for two people wanting a base to explore the Forest or spend time on the water, with the convenience of town amenities close by.
