About DJ Suites The Element

A casual steakhouse sits at the heart of DJ Suites The Element, giving guests an easy option for dinner without leaving the building, and it's the kind of straightforward food offering that suits a short stay near the football. The hotel itself is on Chester Road in Old Trafford, within reach of Manchester United's ground, making it a practical base on match days or for anyone visiting the area.

The 24 rooms are simple and traditional, each with an en-suite bathroom and drinks available in room. Meeting rooms are on hand for anyone travelling with work in mind, and luggage storage is useful for early arrivals or late departures. Free on-site parking is provided, along with airport parking or transfer options for those flying in.

Beyond the steakhouse, there are pubs, bars and further restaurants nearby, along with entertainment options and a golf course within easy reach. Tatton Park also lies within striking distance for a day out. It's a no-frills stay geared around comfort and convenience rather than extras.

Location to Old Trafford is great, parking is ok. Difficult to get an answer to get into the hotel to check in. Rooms don't seem to be cleaned much, doors don't lock properly, bed wasn't comfy. Mould in the corner of the room I stayed, stains on the walls. Someone nicked the TV. Not worth the hassle stay somewhere else.

Large spacious very clean room with everything you needed including a mini fridge and microwave! Bathroom was sparking. Large very comfortable bed! Close to old Trafford and the o2 Victoria warehouse. Great stay for the value. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel was perfectly situated for our needs - night life and shopping. The hotel was clean, the room was large and had lots of facilities available. However the hotel restaurant is over priced and the evening menu food was horrible. I am no chef but I have cooked better food myself. Also the waiters couldn't understand English so repeatedly got my order wrong to the point I had to return two meals and ask for the bill and leave without a main course. The breakfast was lovely if a little on the small side. Would stat in the hotel again but would never eat in the restaurant.

The one member of staff I saw was very friendly. That's the one positive. However, the reception was never manned. It took several phone calls to be let in. The room - once I found it - locked ok on first sight, however there were tea stains up the wall, sweets still on the floor from previous occupant, no shower curtain while also the window in the bathroom was clear glass so not only could you look directly into the room adjacent bit you could look into the windows of the building opposite whilst having a shower. I would not recommend this place at all.
