Rooms were exactly as advertised but the floors were quite creaky. No air conditioning but pedestal fans were sufficient. Molly and Ellie were very friendly and helpful but other receptionists not so much. Location was excellent. Very close to main road and 5 minutes away from big Sainsbury. Breakfast was hearty and lots of variety available at the restaurant next door. Linen and towels provided were good quality. No intercom / phone in the rooms. If there was an issue we had to go all the way to reception to discuss the issue.

So we arrived around half 4, and we were met by Stacey on reception, she met us with a big smile, she were friendly, polite, gave nice pointers, with regards to our stay. After receiving the keys for our room, we went up, an the room is lovely and clean, just what I'd expect from a Premier inn room, we'd rather pay the extra, (if it is extra) over the travelodge 🤣 only down side is the parking, it is chargeable however for Premier inn guests its free upon entering your reg on the reception desk. Anyway, Stacey were brilliant. An the room were beautifully clean.

13:30... my room is available to check in but they want £15 for 'early check inn' This scheme must be working well for them as the charge has increased by £5 since last year. I stay away from home as an engineer 3 to 4 days a week... why our company keeps using this chain is beyond me... Tired hotels... sub par food... half of which is usually unavailable. In Witney last week there were no chicken dishes available for three days and the only beer they had was guinness zero and sol... the general manager also had to run the breakfast kitchen as there was no chef... no scrambled eggs that day as he wasn't trained to make them apparently. Avoid this once great chain and try one of the alternatives. I will be pushing for our company to drop Premier inn at our AGM next month.. we spend 100k plus annually on hotels for engineers... I think it is time we looked elsewhere for better customer service and value for money.

This was an enjoyable stay with lovely staff in both reception and in the restaurant. In brewers fayre, Haylea had very good service as we were in late for the breakfast and she still made sure we got our food. This has been a good stay and will recommend.
