About The Oxnoble
The Oxnoble suits travellers who want a straightforward base near Castlefield and the city centre, with a proper pub attached rather than a generic hotel restaurant. Families in particular are well catered for, with kids' meals, family rooms and a picnic area alongside the more usual en-suite rooms, free WiFi and drinks available in room.
Downstairs, the restaurant and bar are the heart of the place, known for a generous Sunday roast and a menu that stretches to gluten-free options. Staff are consistently described as friendly and attentive, and prices are considered fair rather than inflated for the location. Breakfast is available, and there's outdoor seating for warmer days, plus a 24-hour reception and luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late.
Free on-site parking is a genuine plus in this part of Manchester, and the surrounding streets offer further pubs, bars and restaurants within easy reach. It's worth noting that a few guests have flagged issues getting refunds sorted, so it's sensible to confirm booking terms in advance.

What guests say
stayed here for a night such a nice place to stay great rooms, food, drinks and staff. Great for if your going to the opera house theatre its just round the corner and in a nice area. They made our short stay so nice they helped set up a nice surprise for my daughter of balloons and cake, which was delicious! Thankyou to all the staff you were amazing hope to come again!

Came here for a roast with a group of 8 people and we had an amazing day! The food was incredible, good portion sizes and the beef was so tender. The service was great, really friendly staff and the food came out quickly which was great service for a big group. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Great little pub with a lovely old-school feel while still being really clean and well looked after. Friendly service, good location, solid pub grub and a great drink selection too. The fish and chips were really nice. Came to around £100 for 3 meals and a few drinks each, which felt fair overall.
