About Travelodge Manchester Piccadilly

Manchester's shops, venues and nightlife are all within easy reach of Travelodge Manchester Piccadilly, with Piccadilly Station just around the corner for onward travel and a Starbucks and various pubs and restaurants nearby for anything you need without straying far. Chargeable parking is available about eight minutes' walk away at CitiPark on Tariff Street, useful for anyone driving in.

The hotel itself has 157 rooms spread across six floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, and the beds and showers are a regular high point for those staying over. Accessible rooms are available, along with a lift, 24-hour reception and the option of drinks brought to the room. A buffet-style English breakfast is served for those wanting a proper start to the day, and there's a bar and restaurant on site as well as an electric vehicle charge point for guests arriving by car.

Staff are generally described as friendly and helpful, though a handful of guests have found service inconsistent at times. Pets are welcome, and with rooms priced between GBP 35 and 150, it works equally well as a simple overnight stop or a base for a few days exploring the city centre.

Room is broadly clean besides the carpets that need a good hoover before guests come in. A few hairs here and there but not the end of the world. Service is mediocre. Key cards don't work in your usual wallets with your credit cards so you need to replace them often with unfriendly staff. The area is also very dodgy with lots of homeless people who look like they're on drugs. But it's central so that's good with lots of options

The staff are incredible. The humanity shown by all staff during a difficult day of mine was beautiful. Stacy the manager looked after me, along with divine & all staff … Karika , Grace, Niamh & Kevin & all staff were beyond helpful, kind & went above and beyond, I had the best stay and felt so looked after and welcomed. I couldn’t fault any of the service. Thank you so much for a brilliant staf. I will be back again simply to see staff and not the breakfast and clean room with everything I needed. ✨♾️

Great location. Great staff, the staff really are the best part of this hotel. However. No air con in the rooms and no openable window meant a stuffy room. During the heatwave it was nearly unbearable. Not the fault of the staff but the company should look to address this. There is air con in the bar and restaurant and it was lovely in there. Shout out to Jason, Niamh, Divine and the restaurant breakfast guy, there are brilliant. Also the third bed was below the clothes hanging area.

I stayed at this hotel last week and had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. I booked a large double room that was advertised as having a city/center view. However, when we arrived, we were given a room at the back of the hotel with a completely different view. When my wife went to the reception desk to raise this issue, the staff were dismissive and did not even offer a simple apology. Another major problem was the parking. The hotel’s website clearly stated that guests would receive a special discounted parking rate for 24 hours at the advertised parking facility. Unfortunately, when I went to pay for the parking after my stay, no discount was applied at all. The hotel staff were not helpful in resolving the issue. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. We felt that we were treated differently because we were foreign visitors. Instead of trying to help or understand our concerns, they showed very little professionalism or courtesy. For the price we paid, the service was far below expectations. Misleading information about the room and parking, combined with poor customer service, made this one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you are relying on the parking arrangements advertised on their website.
