Do not book this place the rooms are dated our first room had not been cleaned as you can see the picture of the drawers the sheets were stained and when I said I was told “ there are permanent stains” the first room was really warm. Hallway lights flashing carpets not cleared very well. when we did hear cleaners they were very noisy shouting down the hall at each other the rooms have no way of asking for room service. The shower was busy and spraying out at the sides and not where the shower head. And the front desk is unmanned most of the time it and bottom of stairs it’s has buggies parked. The place is on a very busy road and lots of cars passing the car park was poorly maintained I would never use this place again.

Dirty car park (discarded syringe, tissues and empty cans). Receptionist barely visible behind desk - sat down throughout. She was pleasant enough though. Unpleasant smell throughout hotel. The carpet throughout was old, worn, dirty in places despite there being a man there who was vacuuming at the time. The public areas were worn and really needed a lick of paint. No help with suitcase up the stairs despite my husband using a walking stick. Lift was out of order! The room was dated and worn to say the least. Carpet was dirty. Bed linen was clean. Didn’t dare check the mattresses! Shower, toilet and sink were clean on first appearances, but there was disgusting mould behind the shower doors once they were closed. Plenty of hot water. The floor beside shower was stained and dirty. The bins had not been emptied from previous occupant. No bedside lights. TV worked. Microwave was clean, fridge was not. Two mugs and one spoon, with kettle, tea and coffee supplied. No cutlery supplied to eat whatever one was heating up in the microwave. Á pretty unpleasant experience, one I will not be repeating. £160 for two nights - very expensive for such a down trodden establishment.

Actually seen some realy bad reviews after we booked this place , and almost cancelled , but have to say we found the room clean , good size room , comfortable good sized bed Bathroom clean , and good shower all at a fair price Would stay again if we down in that area again

Would not recommend staying here. For a hotel that was supposedly refurbished last year it is stinking dirty, toilet did not flush, had to let the water fr 19 minutes before it was hot enough to shower. Every room dirty carpet looks like it’s not been cleaned in 20 years, no where to hand clothes had to plug kettle in on the floor. Avoid would not stay here if it was free. Worst hotel we have EVER stayed in
