About Travelodge Stockport

Regent House rises twelve floors above Stockport town centre, giving Travelodge Stockport its distinctive block-like presence among the shops and streets below. Inside are 86 rooms served by a lift, with a straightforward, functional feel throughout rather than anything grand. It's a pet-friendly hotel, so travelling with a dog needn't complicate the trip.

Rooms are en-suite and reasonably sized, with the option of accessible rooms where needed. A bar and restaurant on site cover food and drink, and breakfast is served each morning with unlimited hot drinks and pastries alongside the usual cooked options. Staff are on hand around the clock at 24-hour reception, and Wi-Fi is included. It's worth noting that upkeep in some rooms can be patchy, so standards may vary between stays.

The location suits visitors who want to be within walking distance of things to do: Merseyway Shopping Centre and Stockport station are both close by, and the surrounding area has pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, with fishing and watersports also available in the wider area. Parking isn't on site, but chargeable parking can be found nearby at NCP Stockport Exchange Station, around an 11-minute walk away, and there's an electric vehicle charge point at the property.

Staff were warm, helpful and friendly, especially Simone! The rooms are clean and nice, and the hotel is in good location, next to the viaduct, a very short walk from shops and the station. The food is great, including a click and collect pizza option if you want to take it up to your room.🍕 It's worth getting breakfast included, as there is unlimited tea/coffee/hot chocolate, pastries, cereal, fruit, eggs etc. ☕🥞🍓🍌🍳

We stayed for a long weekend and found the travelodge to be really clean and tidy. The lady on reception that checked us in (I believe she was called Sarah!) was really helpful, kind and attentive. A really pleasant welcome!! Just made small gestures of personalisation like placing us in a room that would be slightly quieter knowing we had young children. We prebooked breakfast for the 3 mornings and 2 of those days we were served by Simone who was incredibly nice and pleasant. Chatty and helpful, really makes a difference to the morning. The breakfast was a small selection, but perfect choices and really clean and tidy! We had dinner on one of the nights which was simple pizzas which were tasty, the only thing stopping us from doing a 5 star was they only had 1 member of staff manning the check in desk and restaurant, which made the wait times/getting help a little less easy specifically in the evening, but they gave us a heads up for this and were still really pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
