Glendon Bed and Breakfast occupies a Victorian villa built in 1857 at 7 Knowleston Place, overlooking Knowleston Gardens and the River Derwent in the centre of Matlock, around a mile north of Matlock Bath. Had a brilliant stay at Glendon B&B. Damian and Adrian are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotless and comfortable and there are lots of lovely small touches throughout the B&B that create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The autumn decor was particularly lovely this time of year! The B&B is well located as it is just a short walk from the centre of Matlock, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the blueberry pancakes and porridge with double cream and brown sugar!

Wow, what a beautiful B&B and wonderful hosts who cannot do enough for you. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is fabulous, I can honestly say its the best place we have ever stayed.we will be back.

This was our second visit to Glendon Guest House (after a gap of 6 years). Everything is just as we remembered. Adrian and Damian are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are light and airy, very clean and decorated to a high standard. The beds are the most comfortable we have found and the breakfasts are amazing. Everything is fresh and of great quality and there is a great variety for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. A wonderful Guest House in a great location for exploring the Peak District.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Glendon B&B and what a fantastic time we had. The Glendon is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, with a great attention to detail. Our room was perfect, really comfortable and very clean. The hospitality shown by the hosts was 10/10 and the welcome on arrival was warm and friendly. The extra special touches were kind and thoughtful, the lemon cake, left in our room, was delicious. The breakfasts were wonderful, with good quality ingredients and lots of choice. This is the best B&B we have ever stayed in and my favourite. I would definitely recommend the Glendon to anyone visiting Matlock and we will be returning. I could go on and on.
