Larks Nest

You step straight into the heart of Larks Nest—a ground-floor cottage with no stairs or steps, where the living space flows openly from kitchen through to the bedroom and wet room. The sitting area has a sofa bed and Freeview Smart TV; the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the basics for cooking; the bedroom holds a kingsize bed with its own ensuite shower room. A utility room with washing machine means longer stays are practical. Underfloor heating and oil central heating keep the place warm, and Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.

The cottage backs onto an enclosed garden with patio and courtyard seating, plus a BBQ. Private parking for one car is on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The setting is the quiet village of Wortham in Mid Suffolk, near Ivy House Farm Cottages. A short walk reaches the village common, a meadow dotted with wildflowers and a duck pond. Walking paths venture out from here into the surrounding countryside. Diss, a market town with shops, cafés and restaurants, is twelve minutes' drive away. The Norfolk Broads, Aldeburgh, Southwold and Norwich are all within easy reach for days out. No smoking indoors.
