The Old Dairy is a detached conversion where essentials come ready to go. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, so you arrive to a functioning home rather than a list of things to sort. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer for self-catering. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, an ensuite wet room and a separate toilet mean two people have space to themselves. Freeview and a DVD player are in the living-dining room.
Outside, an enclosed patio with garden furniture and a barbecue is where to sit. There is parking on site and a bike store. One dog is welcome. The property is single-storey and accessible from the road with just one step to the entrance.
Eye is a small historic market town 4 miles away with independent shops, cafés and pubs. Diss, 6 miles south, has supermarkets, a leisure centre with a swimming pool and rail links to London. The nearby Norfolk Broads and Suffolk coast are within reach for day trips. The setting is quiet enough that wildlife passes through regularly—buzzards, kestrels, deer and owls are often spotted from the garden. No smoking inside the property.
