Tigh Nam Muc is a converted farmstead cottage with the essentials thoroughly covered. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with fuel already laid for both the open fire and wood burner. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge-freezer—so you can cook as much or as little as you need. There's also a utility room with washing machine, and private parking for two cars on site.
The four bedrooms sleep eight. Downstairs, one kingsize has its own ensuite with bath and heated towel rail. Upstairs are a double, two singles, and a bunk bed, served by a family bathroom with walk-in shower and laundry space. The ground floor is open plan—living, dining and kitchen flow together with an open fire and wood burner, French doors opening to the garden, and a separate boot room at the rear. A TV studio on the upper level has long views toward the Pentlands and Lammermuir Hills. Younger children will find a stairgate, fireguard, travel cot and highchair all provided.
The cottage sits in countryside within 15 minutes' drive of Edinburgh and its castle, restaurants and shopping. Rosslyn Chapel is roughly 1½ miles away. One pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
