About Travelodge Edinburgh Dreghorn
Edinburgh's southern fringe, just off the A720, is where you'll find Travelodge Edinburgh Dreghorn, a practical two-floor hotel built for easy access into the city rather than for lingering in the area itself. With free on-site parking right at the front, it suits anyone arriving by car who wants to leave the driving behind and head into town by other means.
The 71 rooms are simple and en-suite, with drinks-making facilities included and accessible rooms available on request. Breakfast is served on site, and pets are welcome, which makes this a reasonable option for travellers who don't want to leave the dog behind. Reception operates around the clock, so late arrivals and early starts are both catered for. It's worth noting that upkeep in some rooms can be inconsistent, with occasional reports of musty smells, so it pays to flag any issues to staff straight away.
A Starbucks and petrol station sit close by for quick coffee or fuel stops, while a pub, restaurant and golf course are all within easy reach for food or a round outdoors. It's a no-frills stopover geared towards convenience, with the city centre accessible beyond the immediate surroundings.

What guests say
The rooms are alright, the amount of water in the shower is a disaster. As for the whereabouts of the hotel, it's about a 45 minute bis ride into the city center of Edinburgh, but it's only 3 minutes by car to get back on the road. The hotel itself is situated in a quiet area, no loud noises during the night

Stopped in overnight on a travel down south a couple of weeks ago. The rooms are outdated but fine, the bathroom in our room was quite grotty looking although I suspect it was actually very clean. Could just do with a refresh, felt a bit lacking for it's mostly convenient location.

Nothing really about tp see.wouldnt stay more than a night. Long term guests live here that seem to run up and down the hall screaming. Room dated would desk broken. Areas of room not been cleaned. Sit has been utilized by local authorities as temporary and emergency accommodation for homeless families and the Home Office for asylum seekers So staff dont seem to care about cleaning rooms to a standard

If i could put 0 star i would - the place stinks of sewege, my matress had humen poo, blood and was very wet, even had crisps under the matress protector! when i asked for a new room i was told there is no more and id have to stay in there untill another room is avalible. You can hear everyone else in their rooms and the petrol station outside the window because of the crappy window you can hear everything! I was in prison as a kid and that was way more plesant to stay! Avoid it at all costs - this place is not sutable for people to sleep and needs to be closed down!
