What visitors say

Sergejs Nikitins

Roker Park is a beautiful and well-maintained green space that offers a relaxing escape from the busy city. The park features lovely gardens, open lawns, and attractive walking paths, making it a great place for a peaceful stroll. Its location near the coast adds to the atmosphere, with fresh sea air and pleasant surroundings. The park is suitable for visitors of all ages, with plenty of space to relax, enjoy nature, or simply spend some time outdoors. The floral displays are particularly impressive during the warmer months, adding colour and character throughout the park. Overall, Roker Park is one of Sunderland’s most enjoyable public spaces and a wonderful place to unwind.

We went for the illuminations last week which was really good with plenty to see. Our little lad loved the miniature train which only required a donation. The fire and water show was good as well for little ones.
