What visitors say
We’ve just had a fantastic stay at Wirral Caravan and Motorhome Club and would happily return. After reading some of the negative reviews before we arrived, I can honestly say we didn’t experience any of the issues mentioned. Every member of the team, especially the site wardens, was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. From our experience, they couldn’t do enough for us. The site itself is very well maintained, with great facilities. The toilet and shower blocks may be a little dated, but they are spotlessly clean, which is far more important. There are even shower stools available if you need one, along with a bike wash and dog wash, which are great little extras. The sea views are lovely, and the enclosed dog walk was perfect for our dog. It’s clear the site is well looked after, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We had a brilliant stay, would definitely recommend this site to others, and we’ll certainly be back.

Set in the Wirral coast, on the cliffs, this is a beautiful site surrounded by woodland with fantastic sea views over to Wales. A disused train line runs parallel to the beach, providing excellent cycling and walking opportunities directly from the site. The beach is great for walking as is the cliff top paths. The site has only one toilet block, ceaned well, but needs more often during busy periods. It does have laundry, dog wash, dog play area and potwash areas. Lots of water/waste service points. There is a children's play area. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I didn't see an on site shop, but there is a DVD rental library. Site has excellent TV, radio and mobile signal reception. All in all, a lovely vacation spot, with lovely views, walking and beach just a stone's throw away.

We used the park as a stop over en -route to the lakes. The park overall and location is fine. The park sadly is just showing it's age and is in much need of re-investment in road infrastructure, lots of pot holes, poor surfaces. Showers showing there age, clean and well kept but old, no bench seats in shower cubicles, not enough hooks but nice hot showers which is what I really want. Traffic from motorway M56/A55 in peak is worth avoiding. Arrived and Depart via the Arrowe park M53 route. Devon Doorway in Heswall, great lunches, and evening menu, friendly staff and dog friendly. Walks and cycling from site on paths and down to beach were some of the best we have had access to on our holidays What I couldn't fault is the smiling faces and friendly welcoming wardens on arrival, during our stay and answering any questions I had. Come on CAMC support your wardens hard work and invest in what could and should be a fabulous park! Overall 4 out 5 only marked down as site and facilities showing their age. But a great place to explore The Wirral, Chester and surrounding area. 👍

Nice clean site, reasonable prices for members, but my goodness me the Internet here terrible. Rubbish signal on Vodafone and only 2mbps time limited from site wifi, im sure they can do better. Remote workers consider yourselves warned.
