Dusary Millhouse is a converted crofter's cottage in Claddach Kyles on the Isle of North Uist, where the ground floor is arranged as one open space around a woodburner. A dining area and well-fitted kitchen—with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine—flow from the living room, which has large windows onto the surrounding landscape. A bathroom with bath and shower completes the lower level. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a super king bed and one with a double, each with a smart TV. Heating and hot water are provided, and bed linen, towels and wifi are included.
The property is set back from the road with parking for two cars on site and enclosed gardens front and back, with sitting-out furniture. It suits families or small groups wanting a base to explore the Outer Hebrides, and comes with a travel cot, highchair and stairgate. No smoking inside. Check-in is after 4pm and checkout before 9am.

What guests say
The Dusary Millhouse is a wonderful place to stay. It is clean, well equipped, very spacious, nicely decorated and very well furnished. The beds are extremely comfortable. The location is fabulous, being set on its own on the shoreline of the west coast of North Uist. We were on a wildlife photography trip & it was perfect for our needs. Enough room to spread out with gear & laptops and comfortable to relax in at night. The owners clearly spend time here themselves because it is equipped as a home from home. And it would be a great place to return to in the winter as the house is very well insulated and heated and there is a lovely wood burning stove that would be very cosy for colder nights. All in all a great place and one to return to, perhaps again and again.

Everything you would ever need to use on holiday but no egg cups, no dishwasher and a WC upstairs would make it better. Covid clean? Not too sure!!
