What visitors say
A beautifully situated campsite. Quiet, immaculate toilet and shower facilities and we made full use of the microwave and washing up facilities. Worth every penny. There is also a really useful 24/7 self service " larder" ; a genius idea where you can pick up snacks , some fresh food and coffee at any time of the night or day. We bought some Hebridean salmon which was delicious . The site is also just 2 minutes from a spectacular beach which our dog really appreciated🐶. Would recommend this site to anyone.

Brilliant campsite but book ahead. Friendly and helpful gentleman on the desk. This was a great stopping off point on my tour of the Hebrides. Lovely hot showers AND a hairdryer. Washing machine & tumble drier. The beaches in the headland are beautiful and very few people about. I was here in May, and although full it wasn’t noisy at night. I’m so glad I booked this stopover.

Camped here for 5 nights with a tent. The facilities are kept immaculate. Superb walks and lots to see in the area (for outdoorsy folk). We heard many a corn crake and saw lots of other birds on this RSPB site. Metered showers but at currently £1 for 7.5 minutes, that’s great (summer 2026). Very friendly staff all around. Great soil for a tent; the sandy grass makes for a good sleep, easy pitching and no mud in sight.

A fab campsite. Toilet, shower block, laundry and wash up warm and super clean all day. And always available whenever we needed. Hot showers very reasonable at £1 for 7 mins. Although the site was fully booked it never felt busy. The pantry shed was great for buying a few essentials. We bought local meat (frozen), milk and drinks. We forgot pegs but managed to buy in the camp shop. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And having a kettle in the wash up area for tea and filling the hot water bottle(!) was a great addition. Enjoyed the walk around the headbland, the birds, a swim at the beautiful white sandy beach and soup and cake from the dunes takeaway to warm up afterwards. A wonderful weekend away from our home on Skye.
