The islands of Na h-Eileanan Siar draw people seeking genuine isolation, and Sealladh Lingeigh sits in the crofting community of East Kilbride on the route to Eriskay, positioned to take in panoramic views across the Sound of Barra and Sound of Eriskay. The house stands a short walk from the beach, and the location brings regular sightings of eagles, whales and basking sharks in summer months, alongside the wildflower abundance of the machair and excellent coastal walking.

The property sleeps nine across four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Ground-floor spaces include a living room with television and open fire, a second sitting room with a multi-fuel burner, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for full self-catering with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedrooms comprise one double and one kingsize on the ground floor, and a second kingsize with an additional single bed and a third double upstairs. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are included; heating and the fire fuel are provided as part of the package. One dog travels free. The garden wraps around the house with a patio, decked seating area and parking for four vehicles on site.

Eriskay lies a short drive away, known for turquoise waters and the Eriskay ponies that roam freely. The area has deep historical layers—Neolithic stone structures, medieval churches, and the wreck of the SS Politician, the vessel that inspired the film Whisky Galore, lies in the waters between the islands. Boat trips depart from Lochboisdale to other islands including Mingualay, the Monarch Isles and St Kilda. No smoking throughout the property.
