I love it here. Here, i found out i have a lot more upper body strength than my physique suggests. I'm just looking at the google pictures of the place at the moment of writing this, and the place has features or whatnot that ive never seen before. I love this place, it has plenty of kid-friendly walls too, and some harder adult ones, though some of the easier ones are for all ages which is nice. Personally, the blue climbing ones are my favourite as its not ridiculously difficult but it is a challenge. Prices are very steep, which i dont like at all, but that wont hurt my overall 5☆ rating of this hangar

Unbelievably busy. But still good fun. Update: just wanted to come back and respond as I see the owner responded to me and I think my review was a bit short and not fair! I've been coming to TCH (both sites) with my teenage son since about June 2025, and I absolutely love it. It's really fun exercise, and great bonding time for me and the boy - although of course he's much better than me, so I'm still a solid Green climber while he conquers the White! We really enjoy the climbing, the gym area (I tend to round off the session with some pilates) and the cafe. Just sometimes it is SO busy when you're coming after work/school. I see the opening hours have changed though, which means maybe we can come a bit later after dinner time rather than trying to squeeze in before dinner. We like three sessions a week and definitely will keep coming!

Easy and speedy induction. Friendly staff and was a great place to bring kids to introduce them to climbing. Plenty of space for all ages. There is also a fun slide in the children’s area for them to slide down once climbed to the top.

I had an amazing experience at the Climbing Hangar in Sandhills, the staff were warm and welcoming, especially Sarah who did our induction and spend plenty of time with us making sure that we were safe and set to start our climbing. We had lots of fun, especially the little ones, and the coffees were lovely too. Would recommend.
