The Cottage at Dockens Water is a single-storey property built for practicality and comfort. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a king bedroom with an ensuite bath, and a separate shower room. Bed linen, towels, electricity and WiFi are included in your stay.
Outside, a terrace and garden furniture look onto the back garden. The property shares access to a heated outdoor swimming pool (10 metres by 4 metres, 1.8 metres deep) that operates from early June to mid-September. One car can park on site. One small to medium dog can stay with you at no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The cottage sits within walking distance of the New Forest's woods and heathland, making it a natural base for exploring on foot or by bike. The coast at Southbourne and Christchurch is also within reach for a day trip. This setup suits couples after quiet time away without the complication of multiple floors or shared facilities.
