Ive phoned this hotel about 10 times (after numerous attempts each time due to phones rarely being manned) asking for a previously agreed refund and ive been told its been passed to management and then ignored every single time. This was for back in May and its now July so safe to say this hotel does not care about customer service. I contacted booking.com explaining this issue and they confirmed they have sent an email to the hotel which needs management input to issue my refund. No action has been taken. Avoid.

Unfortunately cannot comment on the room because I never even got into the hotel! Absolutely disgraceful experience. I arrived after travelling nearly 200 miles to find the hotel completely locked with no way to get in and no one answering the phone. Another guest turned up shortly after me — same issue. We were both left stranded, unable to contact anyone from the property. I had to scramble to find new accommodation last minute, which cost me a lot more, ruined my evening plans, and left me stressed and out of pocket. The fact that this hotel can take your money, be totally unresponsive, and leave guests without access is appalling. I’m lucky I could afford another place — others might not be. Avoid at all costs. Totally unreliable and unprofessional.
