Part of me doesn't want to give a good review as I love this place so much I don't want it to become too popular to the point of finding it hard to book for ourselves . But truth be told it's fantastic. The lady who runs the site is absolutely lovely and is very thorough on the details of booking and rules of wild camping . The place is immaculately clean for a woodland setting . No rubbish or nastiness at all . For anyone who likes the wild camping experience , then this is the place . Don't expect running water or toilet facilities as its a real wild camp experience, so take plenty of water and borrow one of the spades provided at reception. Prices are very reasonable . I've been twice already within a month and will be visiting a lot more .

Ive been here a few times. Wild Camping in a woodland setting. There are no toilets! So you will either have to bury or bag your waste. We personally take a portable loo. Steph and Ike are more than welcoming and they can supply their own meats from the farm for your meals. I highly recommend the pork sausages and hogget steaks.

This trip fell into place perfectly. It was just what I wanted, to be left alone in the wood on the edge of a field with a beautiful view! The weather was great this time around snd I'll definitely be back to see the other plots. Well recommended, especially if this is the kind of camping you're looking for.

My partner and my toddler stayed here for the weekend. We loved it. Secluded, but at night we could see other people’s fires in the distance from most angles (which personally I liked!!) We stayed at a pitch at the forest school which my toddler loved exploring. We could let him roam around quite freely due to how huge our pitch was. In the mornings, we went to the main entrance to fill up our bottles of water as well as wood which we bought for our fires & we brought our own portable toilet and toilet tent. We had a visit from the farms dog, I think Bonnie is her name. With instructions to try and not interact as she’s an over friendly dog. Many apologies, my toddler was obsessed with her (from a distance) 😂 beautiful dog! Everything was perfect - we will definitely be coming back!
