Large room, with a large double bed. Handy bar downstairs, and full breakfast menu. There is limited parking, which if arriving late may be an issue, but we didn't have a problem. Really friendly staff, and located on a strip of hotels, bars and restaurants, so plenty of choice beyond the hotel close by.

It's rather expensive for a night stay in with very basic brekkie. Although the parking was free (behind the hotel if there was a space), I had to park my car on the road which is also free between 6.30pm till 8am the next ́morning (plus extra 2 hours). Our room was accross the road, so we had to go to the reception to get our key who then told us that our room was accross the road (which we didn't understand direction at first). Once we get to the building, we buzzed to be let in & 2 stairs up, long walk and one stairs down later we found our room. The room was lovely, clean and fresh, quiet as it was in the back. The restaurants were full, lively road and you can also shop in Waitrose or Tesco and even do takeaway yummy pizza. Breakfast was very basic, 6 cheddar cheese slices, omlet, suasages, bacon and some cereals and fruits but was filling. Other than these, it's in a great location, close to parks, city centre 20 /30 minutes by car

A truly welcoming stay during a difficult time. I’m here while my son is in a nearby hospital, and the staff have been incredibly kind and accommodating. The rooms are clean, the location is perfect, and the bar food is great. Their hospitality has made a huge difference.

I was woken up at around 11pm by a lot of noise. When I got up to see what was happening, there were a crowd of drunk men in the reception area talking loudly. There were 2 members of staff there but they just seemed to be ignoring the noise. When I complained, they did ask the men to be quiet. It was a bit quieter but the noise continued past midnight. There were loud, drunk men in the corridor outside my room throughout that time and I didn't feel safe to go out again to say anything.
