Four Points Flex by Sheraton Newcastle

We stayed here for one night while passing through. The price is very reasonable compared to other nearby hotels. The family room is spacious but the bathroom is quite small. It is a 4 minute walk to the train station and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The staff were excellent, especially Michae who was courteous and friendly. He also kindly allowed us to check in early. Great service

The location is probably the best thing about the hotel, it’s very central and convenient for the station and getting around the city. The room itself was also clean and fine for a short stay (considering there’s no refrigerator). Unfortunately, the receptionist who checked us in wasn’t the friendliest. We were also given a room on the first floor and found it quite noisy especially at night. Given how central the hotel is and how close it is to the station, roads and surrounding nightlife, I would definitely recommend requesting a room on a higher floor if you’re a light sleeper. Another thing was the bathroom design. There’s no proper separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, including the toilet area, so after showering water gets everywhere. It made the bathroom quite inconvenient to use.

Centrally located. Architecturally well-integrated atop old industrial buildings. Standard business style, but very cramped. NO storage space available—not even for suitcases. Very friendly team that provides quick, pragmatic assistance. Good breakfast at a very fair price. Many thanks.

I spent 1 week in the hotel in June 2026, and I really liked it. Of course, since it is not as expensive as many other hotels in Newcastle, there is no refrigerator, and the room is not big. But the view from my room on the 4th floor was super, and the room was clean. All the necessary things were in the room. For me the highlight was the staff. ALL of them were super. That is something that few hotels achieve. Whenever I had a question or request, they were happy to help me. They never gave me the impression that I was bugging them when I did that. And when all the staff have the same high level of customer service, it is a good reflection on the management too. Thanks so much for everything.
