About Premier Inn Newcastle City Centre Quayside
Walk into your room at Premier Inn Newcastle City Centre Quayside and you'll find an en-suite bathroom, drinks available to hand, and, in many rooms, a view over the River Tyne towards the bridge. The hotel spans four floors and has a lift, with accessible rooms available among its 152 rooms. Some rooms show their wear and noise can carry between floors, so it's worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper.
Downstairs there's a restaurant serving breakfast with a decent spread to choose from, and 24 hour reception for whenever you arrive. On-site parking is available but chargeable and limited to a first come, first served basis, so early arrival helps if you're driving.
The Quayside location puts the Tyne Bridge and the city's attractions within easy reach, with pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out. Golf, fishing and horse riding are also within reach for those wanting to venture further afield, and staff on site are known for being helpful if you need pointers on where to go.
What guests say
We stayed at this Premier Inn for the weekend because we were attending a family wedding. Friday night me and my partner hardly had any sleep. There were kids staying at the hotel due to a football tornament and all they were doing is running along the corridors and banging about above us. At first i thought they were going to cave in on us. I mentioned it to hotel staff the next morning at breakfast. They couldnt apologise enough.

Finished my walk along Hadrians Wall path with a night here to recover. It is almost underneath the Tyne Bridge, and the restaurant has views of the River Tyne. Check in was busy, but luckily very efficient as I was exhausted! The hotel/room was exactly as you would expect for a Premier Inn, albeit this is one that is located inside an older building. As it is close to bars etc, and the windows are old, I recommend ear plugs if you are too tired to be joining in with the nightlife in Newcastle! Had a decent evening meal & breakfast, the staff were friendly & helpful.

Before you book PLEASE READ THIS If you plan on showering here be careful. When I got in the shower the water can be either ice cold or burning hot. When I was showering something would make weird screeching noises then the water would turn boiling hot for 10 sec then ice cold for 5 sec and go back to original temperature. This would happen every 5 minutes. Bathroom is also way too small. HOWEVER, the food is good and so is the service. Im very dissapointed though.

Paul and Sarah have been phenomenal on my weeks visit here they have done over another board on everything that they could’ve done. Food was outstanding and they went above and beyond beyond to service everything that I would need they were especially good with disabled customers that had to have access to the Next bar. They cannot be praised enough for the service and delivery that they gave to each in every customer that was not just myself was also every other customer.
