Maxine who owns the hotel was very kind and helpful. The bedroom had proper curtains so the sun didn't wake me up. Everything was very clean and comfy. Hotel is in a quiet street about 5 mins walk from a bus stop. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to chill out in a peaceful place and not get woken by light or noise.

Lovely hostess. Comfortable, clean room and good value for money. The ensuite would have been a bit tight for space if I was a bigger person trying to negotiate the door to reach the toilet. However the shower cubicle was spacious and easy to operate. Clean, soft bedding and towels provided. Kettle with tea and coffee also in the room. Ironing board and iron available if needed too. Would definitely stay here again.

I can definitely recommend The Adelphi Hotel. It was easy to park outside the hotel and only a short walk to the centre of Newcastle. I stayed here whilst carrying out a large job over a few days. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and I enjoyed having a chat every morning with the owner. The room was lovely and clean and a great size. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back in the future when I am next working in Newcastle. Great value for money. Thank you!

Me and my friend stayed here as a last minute option after an awful day and it exceeded all expectations! The host is lovely, very welcoming and kind and the room was comfortable and had everything we needed.Breakfast was delicious and FAB servings haha. 100% recommend
