The Isle of Arran's southern reaches offer a particular kind of escape—rugged enough to feel remote, yet compact enough to explore in a few days. This corner of North Ayrshire has pretty villages along its coastline, hills inland, and walks that start from your door. Raven's Gully sits in Dhunan, named for a secluded beach within easy reach on foot.
The property is a single, self-contained unit on the ground floor, designed for two people. Inside: open-plan living and dining space with a smart TV, a kitchen equipped to cook properly (electric hob, combination microwave and oven, dishwasher), and a bedroom with a king-size bed. The shower room has a cubicle and separate toilet. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome, and the owners provide extras for them.
Outside, a decked garden with furniture and a firepit overlooks the water. There is private parking for two cars and an electric car charging point. The interiors are well finished and the whole place runs to modern standards, but what guests return to most is the combination of comfort, views, and the fact that coastal walks begin almost immediately outside.

Wonderful stay at Raven’s Gully. Our pod was immaculate and everything provided . Special touches made it extra special ( won’t spoil it). Beautiful views and a peaceful break. Highly recommend for a stay on Arran.

Had the most amazing stay for my husband’s 50th with our 2 dogs. The pod definitely had the wow factor and Barbara was the most helpful and knowledgeable host. The welcome hampers are second to none, especially the doggie one. The views from the pod are exceptional and there are walks from the doorstep, we especially liked the one down to the beach. Arran itself is a beautiful island with lovely shops and friendly people. We will be back!

This is 1 of our most favourite places, we just love it here, it's very us! Ravens Gully is a very high standard luxury pod and everything is thought of. This includes a high spec welcome hamper including marshmallows for the fire pit. It offers great views and great hiking trails from the door. The king sized bed is very comfy and we loved the mood lighting and music control panel with Spotify. Also luxury white fluffy bath towels and Arran Aromatics hand wash. Everything was just perfect, well apart from staying during a storm but even that didn't detract from the stunning location, and Barbara was always on hand if we needed anything. Highly recommend :)

What can I say, these pods are completely perfect - very cosy and comfortable yet modern, with everything you could need for a relaxing break. This was our first time in Arran, and Barbara made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a lovely message on the TV wishing my wife a happy birthday, a welcome hamper for us, and even one for our dog - we loved the personal touches! The pod itself was so nice, very warm, lovely comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen, great sofa, we loved it. The garden is totally secure for a dog, there is also a fire pit outside with plenty of wood supplied, and did I mention the views? Spectacular! This was such a great break, and we really hope to return
