This single-storey pod takes its name from the hill visible to the south, and sits on the Isle of Arran's coastline near Dundhu. The whole space is ground floor: an open-plan living area with a smart TV and French doors onto a decked terrace, a kitchen with electric hob and dishwasher, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a shower room. Everything needed for cooking and staying is provided, including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi. There is private parking for two cars and an electric charging point on site.
The decking looks out to sea, and comes furnished with a table and chairs plus a firepit for evening use. The kitchen has a coffee machine and combi oven, so preparing meals is straightforward. The sitting area faces the water through large glazed doors, giving views across the bay. The property does not allow smoking, and is kept pet-free for guests with allergies or a preference for that environment.
Arran itself is compact—around 19 miles by 10—but contains everything from rugged mountains in the north to sheltered beaches and villages along the coast. Those who enjoy being outdoors will find mountain biking, sea kayaking, scrambling and other pursuits available. The island's mix of forest, dramatic ridges and small settlements suits couples wanting both activity and calm.

Had the most amazing stay for my husband’s 50th with our 2 dogs. The pod definitely had the wow factor and Barbara was the most helpful and knowledgeable host. The welcome hampers are second to none, especially the doggie one. The views from the pod are exceptional and there are walks from the doorstep, we especially liked the one down to the beach. Arran itself is a beautiful island with lovely shops and friendly people. We will be back!

This is 1 of our most favourite places, we just love it here, it's very us! Ravens Gully is a very high standard luxury pod and everything is thought of. This includes a high spec welcome hamper including marshmallows for the fire pit. It offers great views and great hiking trails from the door. The king sized bed is very comfy and we loved the mood lighting and music control panel with Spotify. Also luxury white fluffy bath towels and Arran Aromatics hand wash. Everything was just perfect, well apart from staying during a storm but even that didn't detract from the stunning location, and Barbara was always on hand if we needed anything. Highly recommend :)

What can I say, these pods are completely perfect - very cosy and comfortable yet modern, with everything you could need for a relaxing break. This was our first time in Arran, and Barbara made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a lovely message on the TV wishing my wife a happy birthday, a welcome hamper for us, and even one for our dog - we loved the personal touches! The pod itself was so nice, very warm, lovely comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen, great sofa, we loved it. The garden is totally secure for a dog, there is also a fire pit outside with plenty of wood supplied, and did I mention the views? Spectacular! This was such a great break, and we really hope to return
