5 Ocean Point is a duplex apartment where you get two storeys to yourself, with bedrooms and a full bathroom downstairs, and the kitchen and living space upstairs. Both bedrooms have French doors opening onto terraces, which is where you'll find the outdoor shower if you want to rinse off after the beach. The ground floor bedroom has a king bed and its own ensuite; the second has two singles. Upstairs, the open-plan living area centres on a large television and bifold doors that lead to a balcony where you can sit with a view of the coast.

The kitchen is equipped for cooking properly, with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and all the small appliances you'd expect. Heating comes from an eco-friendly air source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout. Wi-Fi is included, along with bed linen and towels. There's allocated parking for one car and a storage area for bikes and surfboards. The apartment is part of a small collection at Ocean Point, within walking distance of Saunton Sands beach, where you have direct access through the garden. The wider area takes in Croyde and Woolacombe, both known for serious surfing, and you're on the edge of the South West Coastal Path. Saunton Sands golf club, with 36 holes of championship links, is nearby. Note that there are 13 steps down to the garden, and smoking is not permitted.
