Ilfracombe's position on the North Devon coast makes it a draw for seaside holidays, and A Beach Bedroom – Aqua puts you within a short walk of the sand. The house is painted in bright coastal colours – yellows, pinks and blues – and arranged across two floors to sleep eight guests in three bedrooms: two with super kingsize beds (one with an ensuite shower room) and one bunk room with two three-foot beds. A family-sized bathroom serves the first floor, and there's a shower room on the ground floor as well.

Downstairs holds a comfortable living room with a smart TV, a dining room that opens onto the garden through patio doors, and a kitchen equipped for self-catering with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The utility room houses a washing machine and provides access to the rear garden. That garden is mostly patio with a built-in barbecue and some lawn; you can park three cars on site. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and electricity are included. The house is no-smoking. With the beach a few minutes' walk away, this suits families or groups wanting a proper base rather than a beachfront premium.
