Foxglove House

Foxglove House is a substantial Victorian property with period features—chandeliers, ornate fireplaces, picture rails, decorative cornicing—spread across eight bedrooms accommodating up to 15 guests. Two bathrooms serve the house. The main living spaces include a formally furnished sitting room with a 50-inch television, a snug, and a second lounge accessed through a concealed bookcase door. A formal dining room opens onto a terrace overlooking countryside; there is also a games room with table tennis and outdoor activities including croquet, badminton, a trampoline and miniature football.

Two substantial kitchens are equipped with dual range cookers, induction hobs and dishwashers, with informal seating at the kitchen islands. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The property sits within a mile of both coast and pub. One dog is welcome. No smoking is permitted.

Leisure facilities on the grounds include a heated indoor swimming pool, soft play area for children, and a hot tub. Woodland walks cross the surrounding land. Yoga and massage can be arranged, as can private chef services for anything from casual meals to multi-course menus. The whole house is yours for the duration of your stay.
