The Retreat - Cowslip

The Retreat – Cowslip is a glamping bell tent on a working farm in North Devon, surrounded by open countryside, a lake and grazing animals. The 4m x 6m canvas structure sits on its own decking within the farm's gardens, looking out across fields and water. Inside is a proper bed with a feather duvet, a woodburning stove, and a small kitchen area with gas hob and camping fridge. The private facilities include a walk-in shower and toilet. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided, and there is parking for one car on site.

The tent sleeps two as standard, though the layout will fit additional camping beds if needed. The farm itself has a lake for fishing, a chicken run to visit, an all-season tennis court (bring your own racket), and a games barn with pool table and table tennis for rainy days. The setting is quiet – mostly the sound of birds and Jersey cows – but if you want activity, these are built into the property and surroundings. Smoking is not permitted. Dogs are welcome.
