The Retreat - The Den

The Den is a converted farm building in North Devon, standing alone as a self-contained retreat for two. Everything sits on one level: a light, open-plan living space with a full kitchen, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and an en-suite bathroom featuring both a bath and walk-in shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with parking for one car on site.

The real draw is the private garden. A hot tub seats four, there's a sauna, and garden furniture with a barbecue make it easy to spend time outdoors. The surrounding grounds include a lake, tennis court and games room (shared with other guests on the property), so activity is there if you want it. Barnstaple is nearby for supplies and services. One dog is welcome, and non-smokers only.
