The Retreat- Poppy

The Retreat – Poppy is a bell tent sleeping two, pitched on decking within the grounds of a working farm near North Devon's coast. The canvas structure measures four by six metres and houses a woodburning stove, a proper king-size bed with feather duvet, and a walk-in shower room. A small camping kitchen with gas hob and fridge sits within the tent itself, along with everything needed for cooking and eating. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included.

The decking area has space to sit outside, and a shared laundry room is available for longer stays. On-site parking for one car is provided, with overflow parking nearby. The glamping site sits within a farm environment overlooking a lake and open fields; from here, Exmoor National Park and the North Devon coastline are accessible for exploring. Those wanting to stay put can fish in the lake, play tennis on the all-season court (bring your own racket), or feed the chickens. A games barn with pool table, table tennis and darts is available in poor weather. The site does not permit smoking. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
