Step through the doors of Thistlebank and you're immediately in a generous open-plan space that runs the length of the ground floor. The living area centres on a woodburner with French doors opening onto an enclosed garden; the kitchen sits alongside with a full cooker, dishwasher and all the basics for cooking; beyond that is a utility room with washing and tumble-drying. Three bedrooms are spread across the same level—one with a kingsize bed and ensuite wet room, two others with zip-and-link singles—plus a family bathroom with a bath and shower.
The house sits on a working farm in open countryside, elevated enough to have views across the land beyond, yet within a quarter-mile of a pub and restaurant. Glasgow city centre is a short drive away, or accessible by train; Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park lies further north for walking and cycling. Parking for three cars is on site. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; the woodburner comes with initial logs, and further baskets are available. A travel cot and highchair are on hand if needed, along with a shower chair and raised toilet seat if requested.

We had a wonderful week at thistlebank it is nice and quiet very well equipped .it's like being a home. Inside is nice and bright and well decorated large kitchen and dining room. Slate tile floor. Bedrooms are laminate. Bathrooms aer tiled. Easy to keep tidy with are two dogs .outside artificial grass and stone chipping .again making it very good at keeping clean. Some nice waking round the area. The Swan pub 5 minutes walk well worth a visit for drinks and very good food friendly service and you can take the dogs. All in all a great place.

What a fantastic well equipped holiday home! It's in an excellent location, being in open countryside, with lovely views, but so close to many attractions. Very welcoming to dogs too, with an enclosed garden area, dog beds, bowls, etc.

Just spent a lovely weekend at this wonderful location. Beautiful cottage everything you need equipped to the highest standard and spotlessly clean. Dog friendly and provision for them fantastic. Pictures are exactly how it is. Highly recommended. Thank you
