About Drum Farm Hideaways

Fancy a luxury break in the Scottish countryside, relaxing with a long evening soak in your private hot tub followed by a restful slumber in a super-kingsize bed? Drum Farm Hideaways delivers exactly that, set in the peaceful valley of the River Earl's Burn, a 20-minute drive from Stirling. You'll be staying in a spacious geodesic dome – and spacious is no exaggeration. These impeccably appointed shelters accommodate sleeping quarters, a living area with sofa bed, kitchenette, plenty of storage, and a woodburner for chilly evenings. Each has its own ensuite with a large walk-in shower, plus wheelchair-accessible facilities including wide doorways and step-free access.

Outside, your private deck boasts that bubbling hot tub, a barbecue, and loungers perfect for stargazing beneath spectacular hillside views. Guests love the tranquillity and thoughtful touches, though a handful note the gravel paths can be uneven underfoot. Tear yourself away and you'll find Carron Valley Forest just over half a mile off, with hiking and biking trails extending to Carron Reservoir. For a more challenging trek, follow the river north-east all the way to Earls Burn Waterfall.

This is the best place to stay. We absolutely loved both our times there. We’re from Saint John New Brunswick Canada, and we’ve been there twice, last year and this year and already planned next year. I highly recommend it. Jessica is absolutely adorable. Her breakfast are my husband‘s favorite. Her whole family are very nice and kind and welcoming even her dogs. It is well maintained very clean.

Peaceful Dome with all the facilities you need. Stunning scenery. Beautifully decorated, super comfy bed. Made good use of the fabulous BBQ and Hot Tub. (Hot tub covered which was a huge plus point). Perfect, romantic trip away. Very private with nobody overlooking which was another huge plus point) Special place, can’t wait to visit again !

Highly recommend, set in the most beautiful surroundings and experienced stunning sunsets. Absolutely tranquil. The dome has everything you need and with a hot tub to dip in what more could you ask for! Let’s not forget the Highland Cows, having that close up experience was the best. Jessica who owns the Farm is super friendly and goes the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable. Will definitely return.

Just had THE best chilled weekend here for my anniversary. Quiet rural location chilling in the hot tub with a bubbly. Even got a tickle with the Highland Cows! Views were amazing looking over the damn. Would definitely return and highly recommend this hidden gem 💎
