🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Betty’s House

North Norfolk

Betty's House is a two-bedroom cottage in North Norfolk, built originally as a private home and now equipped for self-catering guests. The property sleeps four across a double bed and a pair of zip-and-link singles (which can be pushed together on request). Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included, along with heating for cooler months.

The ground floor is open-plan, with a kitchen that has everything for proper cooking—gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and a coffee machine—leading into a dining and living space that opens onto the garden and patio through French doors. Upstairs, the main bedroom has dual-aspect windows with views across the owner's land toward the river. The shower room is contemporary, with a substantial cubicle shower. Outside, there's a garden with patio, furniture and a barbecue, plus private parking for two cars (one space has an electric car charging point, available at cost). The property is non-smoking throughout.

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve is very close by, with Sheringham Park, Cley Marshes and the Norfolk Broads all easily reached. Historic estates including Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham are within reasonable distance for a day out. The surrounding area works for both active holidays and quieter breaks.
