Willow Cottage

Great Ryburgh sits among the quieter villages of north Norfolk, a short drive from Wells-next-the-Sea and the Suffolk coast. Willow Cottage is a compact, self-contained property sleeping two, with its own entrance, parking for two cars, and a small enclosed front garden with patio and furniture. One bedroom upstairs contains a zip-and-link bed (which can be configured as two singles if preferred), with an ensuite bathroom combining bath and shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living space includes a kitchen, dining area and sitting room, plus a multi-fuel burner for evenings in.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; initial fuel for the burner is also provided. A small outbuilding houses a freezer. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. The cottage does not permit smoking.

The village itself has a fish and chip shop and butcher. Wells-next-the-Sea, reachable in 20 minutes, offers a working quay, wide sandy beach, narrow-gauge railway and traditional shops and restaurants. From there, the coast stretches east towards Cromer and its pier, or west to Hunstanton, with salt marshes, shingle beaches and smaller villages scattered between.
