Oast Barn

North Norfolk

North Norfolk's coastline is within easy reach of this converted barn, which sits in countryside close to the Georgian market town of Holt. The property itself is traditional flint-built, set back from a river and accessed via private parking for two cars. A courtyard garden provides outdoor space for quieter moments.

Inside, the ground floor is an open plan living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals properly—electric oven and hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances are there. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with a king bed and ensuite, another with a king bed, and a third with two single beds. There are two bathrooms plus a separate toilet. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and the essentials—electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are all included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Holt itself has restaurants, pubs and independent shops within walking distance. The coast is under ten minutes away, so you could visit Blakeney for crab-fishing, Wells-next-the-Sea for the quay and beach, Sheringham for its heritage railway, or Cromer for the pier. The Norfolk Broads are roughly 45 minutes' drive, and Norwich about the same. No smoking in the property.

We’ve just come back from a fantastic stay at Oast Barn and thoroughly enjoyed it. The barn has been beautifully converted, mixing character and charm with modern touches. It was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and felt homely from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout our visit, which was a real bonus. Mobile phone signal was quite poor, as it often is in rural locations, but this wasn’t an issue for us thanks to the reliable Wi-Fi. Having secure parking right outside was really handy, and we loved the little west-facing patio area, a perfect suntrap for sitting out with a drink in the evening. The location is ideal for exploring the North Norfolk coast, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. We’d definitely want to stay here again.

Beautiful Barn conversion. BUT needs TLC lots of TLC, plus furniture cleaning and or replacing also needs a deep clean all this was mentioned 11 months ago on a review but obviously not actioned.. On the plus side it's in a good position and we didn't let the -minus points spoil our holiday . If you want an up to date spotless perfect place without low furniture it's not for you .
