Sweet Pea Cottage

North Norfolk

Sweet Pea Cottage works equally well for a couple after peace and quiet or a small family wanting Norfolk's market-town charm without the fuss of a larger house. The single bedroom has a king bed; there are two single beds in a second room (this property sleeps four). A bathroom with bath and shower, sitting room with TV, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher—mean you can settle in for a week or just a weekend. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included.

You're on the edge of Holt itself, close enough to walk to its Georgian streets, independent cafés, restaurants and shops. A private hot tub sits in the small enclosed courtyard. If you want to get out, the North Norfolk coast is a short drive away; quieter walks are on your doorstep around Holt Lowes and nearby hills. The village of Blakeney is five miles off. Pets stay free here. The cottage sits on narrow stairs—something to factor in if you have mobility concerns or very small children.

Positive! We just had a beautiful weekend away in this cottage. Cottage very tiny but well presented with everything you need for the time being. Kitchen cleaned, bathroom shower cleaned. Welcome pack with chocolate was a lovely surprise and was gone with in a day 🫣. Hot tub was clean well maintained ❤️. Bed was comfy to sleep. 2min walk to the centre. Thank you, we may consider coming again.😉. Negative! One star off due to: a) bad smell (as we walked into the the cottage was smelly in the living room/kitchen) hard floor was very dirty, didn't expect it to be dirty as after the long journey was nice to take shoes off and with in the hour my socks looked very dirty as if I was walking on the garden patios. Rug smells too 🤢 I did find hoover but didn't see mop or would have mopped the floor myself... b) no privacy in the Hot Tub as small gate is useless. It's odd to have a high fence but gates designed to see you in the hot tub. People walking dog,car driving pass, neighbours walking looking. Please bear in mind for people with limited mobility the stairs are difficult 😉.

We have enjoyed our stay here at sweet pea cottage cottage was lovely and cosy and clean. The hot tub is nice and the owner comes and check chemicals every other day. The main bedroom is a good size and the bed is comfortable. The small bedroom has 2 single beds the door doesn't quite open fully but okay to get in and out of. The stairs are very steep and tight. The parking is opposite 80 yards away spot 23, the spot is under a massive tree so your car will be covered in sap ect. The closest shop is budgens what is a 5 minutes walk away. The cottage has plenty of pots and pans ect but probably could do with some decent knifes.

Very lovely comfortable cottage, perfect location very close to town centre of Holt and surrounding areas. Cottage not really suitable for 4 adults, single beds quite uncomfortable but adequate for 2 nights. The stairs are very steep if your tall could be a problem but it was fine for us. Hot tub is an added bonus lovely to relax in after a long walking day! Recommend the Kings Head at Letheringsett had a lovely evening meal there and dog friendly. Weather was perfect too for October 😎.
