Balcony Cottage

Balcony Cottage sits on Cliff Street in Whitby with an upside-down layout designed to make the most of its setting. The living room and kitchen occupy the first floor, opening onto a generous balcony furnished for outdoor dining. A corner sofa faces the view across the harbour towards the abbey and St. Mary's Church. Below, two bedrooms and a shower room complete the ground floor; the main bedroom has its own enclosed garden with seating.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and includes a washer dryer, so you can prepare proper meals and manage laundry during a longer stay. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided. Thirteen stone steps lead to the entrance. The cottage suits three people: it has one kingsize bed, one single bed and one shower room. A pub sits within a mile, and the narrow streets of Whitby's old town—full of independent shops, cafes and bars—are a short walk away. No smoking.
