Bank View is a three-bedroom cottage on the edge of Giggleswick, sleeping up to five people. The ground floor has a living room with television and gas fire, plus a kitchen and dining area with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a separate toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms—one double, two singles, and one single—and a bathroom with bath and shower. The essentials are covered: central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. A small patio with garden furniture looks onto the garden, which drops away to a stream beyond; there is off-road parking for one car.
The location is built for walking. The Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent are nearby, and country routes leave directly from the door. The Settle-Carlisle Railway line runs through the area, offering one of England's most scenic train journeys. Giggleswick village itself has two pubs serving food; Settle, a mile or so away, has a supermarket, restaurants and tearooms. The Waterfall Walk at Ingleton, Giggleswick Scar and White Scar Caves are within reach, as are the broader Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and Forest of Bowland. Skipton and Kirkby Lonsdale are easy driving distance. Please note: the property has steep, narrow or spiral stairs, and smoking is not permitted.
