Brook House Barn- Foxglove

North Yorkshire

Photo: Google Maps

Whitby sits on the Yorkshire coast with the Cleveland Way footpath running along its clifftops, connecting the town to Robin Hoods Bay and beyond. About two miles from the town centre, Brook House Barn – Foxglove occupies this walking territory, positioned to reach Saltwick Bay on foot and to step onto countryside trails immediately. The converted barn itself contains two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the main bedroom offering a double bed and the second holding two singles; each has its own shower room. A living room with a Smart TV and a combined kitchen and dining space form the ground floor, with an electric oven and hob for cooking.

The essentials are covered – electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included – and you have sole use of the entire property. Outside, a front garden with patio and parking for one car provide space to breathe. The layout suits families or two couples, though the property is non-smoking. From here, the Cleveland Way is a short walk away, leading along the cliffs toward Robin Hoods Bay. Saltwick Bay itself is roughly ten minutes on foot, a rocky cove where the tide works the shore. The Cinder Track, a cycle and walking route from Whitby toward Scarborough via Ravenscar, lies close by, offering a gentler alternative to the clifftop path.
