Jewel Cottage
North Yorkshire
This semi-detached former stable sits on high ground overlooking Whitby's fishing port, with views across towards the abbey and coastline. The building's stone walls and converted character give it genuine presence, set apart on the southern edge of the town near a small caravan site. A pub is within easy walking distance, and the enclosed garden and patio are furnished for sitting out.
Inside, the ground floor has a living room with Freeview TV, DVD player and radio, opening through patio doors to the garden. The kitchen/dining room has an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge for self-catering. Upstairs, the first bedroom holds a double bed (4ft 6in); the second has two single beds (3ft) plus a pull-out single for flexible sleeping. One bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity and bed linen are provided. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The cottage is yours alone, and one dog stays free.
Robin Hoods Bay and Sandsend are close by. Whitby's sandy beaches, clifftop golf course, and various sailing and fishing trips from the harbour are all nearby. No smoking inside.
