This stone cottage began life as a stable and retains the character of its past. Set beside a caravan site near Whitby, it looks out across the town towards the Abbey and sea. The property is yours alone, with an enclosed garden and patio, parking, and enough space for a small family or two couples.
Downstairs holds a sitting room with a woodburner effect fire and a separate kitchen-diner where you can prepare proper meals. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, the other with two singles and a pull-out single if needed—and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included. One dog stays free of charge. The cottage does not permit smoking.
Whitby itself offers museums, galleries, fishing trips and amusement arcades. The North Yorkshire Moors steam railway runs from the town through Grosmont and Goathland towards Pickering, and a pub stands within a mile. A travel cot and highchair are available if required.
