Caedmon’s Dream

Whitby's cobbled streets and harbourside charm sit within walking distance of Caedmon's Dream, a three-bedroom cottage arranged over four floors in the heart of the town. The ground floor opens into a combined living and dining space with a 32-inch TV and Freesat; the kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Bedrooms are spread across the building—a double on the lower ground floor next to a bathroom with a P-shaped bath and shower, a double on the first floor with an ensuite shower room, and two single beds on the second floor, which has views across Whitby's rooftops to the Abbey.

The cottage sleeps six and comes with essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels included. One parking permit is provided for a space 300 yards away, though unloading is possible closer to the property. Whitby itself is packed with pubs, restaurants and independent shops selling everything from fresh seafood to souvenirs and household supplies. The surrounding area suits walkers and coastal explorers—the Cinder Track and Cleveland Way are nearby, beaches lie close by, and the North York Moors National Park is within reach. One pet is welcome to stay at no extra charge, and the town is notably dog-friendly, with many pubs, cafés and even a dog bakery nearby. No smoking inside.
