You enter Rose and Crown Yard into an open-plan ground floor where living space, dining area and kitchen flow together—a 28" smart TV and Bluetooth speaker in the living area, electric oven and gas hob in the kitchen, plus a washer-dryer tucked in. The first floor holds a double bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower. A second flight leads to a zip-and-link twin bedroom under wooden beams. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
The cottage sits in a quiet yard just off Whitby's centre, a short walk from Skinner Street's cafés and bakers, and five minutes' stroll from the harbour and cobbled streets lined with independent shops. Whitby brings year-round festivals—the Goth weekenders, regatta, music events—plus three miles of beach. The Yorkshire Heritage Coast unfolds nearby with cliff walks, coves and bays. Inland, the North York Moors National Park holds villages like Grosmont and Goathland; a steam train runs from Whitby through the moorland. Parking is in the town's pay-and-display car parks. No smoking inside.
